Today, the cricket fraternity, friends and family paid their last respects to the veteran cricket umpire,Francis Ekalungar at St. Augustine Chapel Makerere University, Kampala.
Ekalungar’s body was found burnt beyond recognition in Kajjansi, Wakiso district, after reports of him missing by Case Medical Centre, where he worked as an accountant.
The 49-year-old Ekalungar is survived by four children.
