1. Denver Broncos RB Devontae Booker (FantasyPros RB Rank, 34)

I said it last week. I said it the week before. I’ll probably say it every single time I write one of these columns.

Follow. The. Snaps.

There’s a trend forming in Denver, and it’s going in the direction of Booker.

  • Season-high snaps, snap-percentage: 48, 55.5 percent.
  • Matched season total redzone touches: five in Week 11, five in rest of 2017
  • Ninth-most snaps, third most touches (19 total) of any running back in Week 11
  • C.J. Anderson played second-lowest snap percentage of the season

Last week Booker had a season-high 14 carries, season-high five catches and a season-high 98 total yards. Meanwhile C.J. Anderson averaged a pedestrian 2.8 yards per carry in addition to a crucial lost fumble in the fourth quarter that may have cost Denver the win. Without a guaranteed contract for next season, the Broncos have nothing to gain by continuing to give Anderson extended playing time.

They fired their offensive coordinator with a look towards 2018. They inserted 2016 first-round pick Paxton Lynch into the starting lineup with an eye toward 2018. With all those touches last week, they showed their hand in looking at Booker as a potential lead back for 2018.

This week, the Broncos face a Raiders defense that has allowed the fifth-most rushing and fifth-most receiving yards to running backs. Booker is an incredible value this low in the rankings and someone you should pounce on for his end of season potential.

I wrote about J.D. McKissic last week, so if you’re looking for a deep-dive please check there, but the story remains the same this week.

The Seahawks’ backfield is a mess.

Happy Thanksgiving!

With the short week this week, I’m going to keep this intro brief. Whether this is your first time reading one of my advice columns or you’ve been with me for a long time, I wanted to thank you for staying with me on this fantasy football journey. It hasn’t been all sunshine and rainbows, but it has always been a pleasure of mine diving down the rabbit hole that is fantasy football and I hope I’ve been able to help some of you along the way.

And with that, here are my top value flex plays from FantasyPros’ Week 12 rankings.
